Obituary of Albert J. Maya

Albert J. Maya, age 85 years, died June 15 at Kennedy Health Care Center, Washington Twp., NJ. Born in Philadelphia, he had lived most of his life in Pitman and moved to Washington Twp. in 1986. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1952-54, and was employed by Local #452 as a Union Glazer for 45 years. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades, retiring in 1987. For many years, he coached Little League, and umpired games. He was an avid Phillies fan and bowler.
He is survived by his son Albert R. (Darlene), grandchildren Albert R. Jr., and Richard K. Also survived by his stepchildren; Karen Jones, Harry Hofflinger, Ruth Nail, Robert, Barry, and Brian Hills, Barbara Robbins, and Regina Morrison, 17 grandchildren, and 30 great grandchildren. Predeceased by Mary Hills.
Memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 11AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memories may be shared at www.kelleyfhpitman.com.
