Obituary of Joseph P. Shannon

Joseph P. Shannon, age 75 died on March 7, 2016 at his home in Upper Pittsgrove Twp. Joseph was a graduate of Woodbury High School in 1958 and lived in Upper Pittsgrove over 42 years. Joseph served in the US Navy from 1958-1962. He was a Manager for CBS, later Sony in Pitman for 45 years. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Eloise (nee Smashey), son Michael P.(Pamela), daughters Sandy Gledhill, Debra Cooper, daughter by choice Cheryl Newkirk, and sisters Sally Field, Pat Haas, and Vike Roberts. He was predeceased by his son Joseph P. III, granddaughter Morgan and sister Fran Yuhasz. Graveside service will be 11:30am on Friday in Friendship Cemetery, 149 Friendship Rd., Monroeville.
