Obituary of Edward B. Echt

Edward B. Echt, age 93 died on August 31, 2015 at his home in Pitman. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Edward lived in Willingboro for 40 years before moving to Pitman in 2008. Edward served in the Army during World War II in India and South East Asia. He worked in Housing for the Department of the Army in Fort Dix, NJ. Edward was a member of the Willingboro VFW Post #1149. Survived by his wife of 68 years Eleanor (nee Saraduke), children Steven (Norma) and Deborah, grandchildren Joshua (Isobel), Laura (Craig) Worley, Alex (fiancé Brittany McCall), sister in law Francine Saraduke and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be private in Gloucester County Veteran's Cemetery, Monroe Twp; NJ. Contributions may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr, Marlton, NJ 08053.
