Obituary of Joanne R. Stafford

Joanne R. Stafford (nee Reiniger) died on July 6, 2015 at the age of 87. Joanne was pre-deceased by her parents, well-known local artists and teachers, Frederick and Josephine Reiniger. Joanne grew up in Pitman and returned to the area 20 years ago where she continued to actively paint and teach art. Joanne was a painter, printmaker, sculptor and art teacher for her entire adult life. She was an active member of St. Bridget's Church in Glassboro where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was also an active member of the South Jersey Art League. She was educated in New York City and is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Joanne was the wife of the late Vincent R. Stafford for 48 years. She is survived by her children Wendy (Jack) Hill, Mark (Laurie) Stafford, Kim (Robert) Campi and grandchildren Erik (Kim) Hill, Jonathan (Amanda) Hill, Sarah Stafford, Michael Stafford, Lauren (Joshua) Gottlieb-Miller, Patrick Hannon, 4 great grandchildren and her sister Adrienne (J. Langford) Montgomery. A Memorial Mass will be on Friday at 11:00am in the Church of St. Bridget, 125 Church St, Glassboro, NJ. Memories may be shared at www.kelleyfhpitman.coml.
