Richard Weldon Waller, 75, of Pitman departed this life on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Cooper Hospital, Camden, NJ from complications of Pneumonia. He was the son of Weldon and Mary (Kowalski) Waller and was born and raised in Bridgeton, NJ. He graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1958, Goldy Beacom School of Business in 1962 and the University of Baltimore in 1971 with a BS Degree in Accounting and Business Administration. He was predeceased by his parents, and is survived by Linda, his wife of 22 years, her son and daughter in law, Jeff and Lauren Archut and grandchildren, Max and Grace Archut of Pitman. He is also survived by two sisters and their spouses, MaryAnn and Chris Jespersen of Bridgeton and Barbara and George Lange of Arizona. Richard held many and varied positions as an accountant. He retired from Colonial Kitchens in Norma in 1991. He owned and operated Vineland Cold Storage coupled with North Coast Seafood and Pasta Distribution business. He also was the plant manager for Consolidated Seafood Corporation, and the accountant for Gorton's Seafood, Progresso Foods Corporation, Seabrook Farms Company, and Atlantic Fisheries, an import/export seafood business on the island of Providenciales. He also was a representative for T.H. Riley Manufacturing, the maker of the Quik Trench. Richard was a die-hard Eagles fan since 1959. He also enjoyed designing and building three new homes. His other love was for his cats of which Callie and Blackjack, sister and brother cats, provided happiness for Richard over the past several years. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family in the Kelley Funeral Home.
