Perhaps the best man I have ever met. In my indebted thoughts always. Then there was the dream. Of which we are such stuff. Dream on, Dear friend.

Mr. Morris lived a very full life and also touched so many other lives as a teacher, director, husband, father, grandfather and friend. I feel blessed to have shared a little bit of time with him.

On Stage: ALMOST missing his entrance during Enemy of the People
As a professor: handling us with humor and respect, and being tough but fair with us.
As a director: taking on the plays that no one else would have directed because he knew it would stretch our brains and our abilities as much as it stretched his patience!!
At rehearsals: munching Fritos, biting his nails, brushing his hair off his face in frustration,
As a person: Full of energy and pathos, a great husband and proud father; in the truest sense, a Gentleman and a Scholar.
I became a better schooled and more courageous actor under his watch, and he taught me to stand up for my art and myself, to respect the craft, to work hard and to not believe everything you read in the reviews!!!!

I will always remember Doc for being one of my greatest professors of Life. He taught me so much about theatre and writing but even more about relationships. Mourning Doc is so painful but knowing that he touched thousands of others is comforting. He made the world a better place and all of us are that much better because of him.
