Truely one of the kindest, sweetest men I have had the honor of knowing. He would come in Hill Top Rest. in the morning for breakfast, we have shared many talks, not the easiest life, but he never let him get him down. If we all could live like him, God Bless you Mr. Mead, you are a true inspiration, and your quarters hid under the napkins always made me smile, I still think of that.

My memories are of Mr. Mead, and his vegetables, he always let people know when they were ready---they were always so good and fresh. Funny I still often think in the summer how I would walk down from my mothers, then married I still went there. Thanks for the memories Mr. Mead.

a true "gentle-man," always a smile, always polite, always courteous, always a kind word,
& always the best vegetables in the garden state; i am sure that he is showing them how to grow tomatoes in heaven; may he rest in peace.

When we were first married we lived next to the Meads on Fernwood Avenue. What a warm, friendly couple. After Mrs. Mead passed we stayed in touch but somehow lost track of Mr. Mead the last few years. We used to enjoy seeing him and his red truck at Duffields.
Sincerely,
Bonnie and Bill
