Joan A. Ewing (nee Wallace), age 76 died on December 22, 2011. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY she has lived in Washington Twp since 1968. Joan worked over 25 years for Blackwell North America in Washington Twp, retiring in 1998. She was a member of Holy Family Parish in Washington Twp. An expert bridge player for over 50 years, Joan was a member of the Washington Twp Senior's Bridge Club. She was also an avid Phillies fan.
She was the wife of the late Robert A. Ewing. Survived by her loving children Deborah Allshouse, Laura Monaghan, James J. (Patricia) Collins, Jr. and Peter J. Collins, step children Steven Ewing, Susan C. Romano and Scott Ewing, siblings Mary England, Lenore Roth and Frank Wallace, grandchildren Patrick, Sean, Casey, David, Nicole, Jamie, Calvin, Lisa, Leslie and Katie and 2 great grandchildren.
Friends may greet the family on Thursday 7-9pm and Friday 9:30-10:30am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass will be Friday at 11am in the Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Rd, Washington Twp, NJ. Contributions may be made to Support Our Troops, Inc., P.O.
