Although I never met you, I felt as if I had, for your husband Tom enjoyed sharing thoughts of you whenever I saw him. As I truly believe that spouses reflect each other, I know that you are indeed special. God Bless you and your family.

I lived across the street from Maryanne as a kid. I remember Maryanne as a sweet sweet person. Always was so kind to me. I wish the family the prayers needed to get through this difficult time. May God be with you all.

I was greatly saddened to read that MaryAnne had passed to God's eternal keeping. I lost track of MaryAnne and Tom after they moved but often thought of her. We had some great times together growing up. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family of MaryAnne. I feel very lucky to have grown up as one of her daughter's best friends, because it gave me the chance to know such a wonderful woman.

To the family of MaryAnne Podorsky;
It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. The Bible however, holds out a wonderful hope. The scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with MaryAnne in the near future right here on earth under peaceful conditions. At that time humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never have to die again. Jesus said in John 5:21,28,29 "Just as the father raises the dead up and makes them alive, so the Son also makes those alive whom he wants to. Do not marvel at this because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus voice and come out." Jesus promised that millions now dead will live again on this earth and have the prospect of remaining on it forever under peaceful, paradisaic conditions (John 3:16, 17:3 and Psalm 37:29). Until that day arrives remember God who is the "hearer of prayer" can equip you with the "power beyond what is normal" to go from one day to the next (2 Corinthians 4:7, Psalm 65:2). Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.

We just wanted to let you know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. We can not be at the viewing or service as I will be in Philadelphia myself for catheterization and a probable procedure the next day, but our sympathies are with you. Wellington & Nancy Watts -- your neighbors.

MaryAnne and I go back to the time she moved into the Billings Ave neighborhood. I think we were around 10. We camped in the backyards, got rides to school with her Dad(he was such a great Dad), and played "Kick The Can" on Billings Avenue. I could go on... We graduated and went off into separate directions, but always kept in touch. She was a proud woman, a smart woman, and had a strong opinion in life. I had not heard from her for some time and just mailed her a Christmas card yesterday to "catch up". My brother called me this morning and I am devastated to hear about her passing. My heart goes out to Tom, her children..Kathy..Mom Jordan. I wish I could be there with you all. Please know she is in my prayers. I will miss her.

Mare:
Your infectious sense of humor. You were an ornery little kid. I will miss our long talks----sharing our lives in the midst of crazy schedules.
Tom, Leanne and Sean will carry on your legacy knowing how much you loved and cared for your family.
I love you Mare. Be at peace. Hopefully you are with Dad and our many friends and relatives.

Mrs. Podorsky will be greatly missed. She was always so nice and anytime I saw her she was always smiling and in a good mood. Her daughter Leanne is my best friend. Leanne is one of the most amazing people I know. She is smart, beautiful, caring, and funny and I know she received alot of those qualities from her mom, MaryAnne. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. May you find some peace in knowing she is now free from suffering.
