Obituary of Ruth M. Robinson

Ruth McGee Robinson, age 92, passed away peacefully at her home in Pitman surrounded by her family. Ruth graduated from Pitman High School in 1943. She began working during high school at Mantua Bank. She married Robert Loren Robinson on April 26, 1947 and stopped working to raise her children. In 1965, Ruth went back to work at the Mantua Bank and in 1970 she went to work for West Deptford Bank. In 1973 Ruth started working at Pioneer State Bank and advanced to Assistant Treasurer, retiring in 1989. After retirement, Ruth returned to work for a few different banks and worked for AC Moore three days a week in the Finance Department until December 2017. Predeceased by her husband Robert L., she is survived by her children Robert L. Jr. (Linda), Thomas A., Joyce, James (Nina), grandchildren Robert G. (Deanna), Daniel, Adam (Kristy), Thomas A. Jr., Michael P. (Chastity), Kelly (George) Percival, Chelsea L., J. Kevin and 21 great grandchildren. Friends may greet the family 6-8pm on Tuesday in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Words of Remembrance 7:45pm. A Celebration of Ruth's life will follow at a nearby location.
